Don contacted me few weeks later and we had a chat on the phone. All I was looking for was a "Sorry, shit happens and let's move on" but not only they apologized, they refunded the diagnosis cost and even threw money for a few beers on top it. Real amazing customer service. Appreciate the honesty and care. NOTE: This is for their mechanical service not their Tires Service. I have a 2002 Nissan Altima that had a bad immobilizer. I was introduced to this shop through a mechanic shop that I had trust in and I went in without a doubt. I have to say the people here are really nice and polite. However, things got ugly as I towed my car, handed the keys, left and received a call a few hours later, stating that my car would require more than 650 dollars worth of work to get back on the road. They told me the car needed the immobilizer (true) that was more than 350 dollars (not true). I called 3 different dealers in my area and they all quoted me way below 300 dollars. (approx 230 + tax). And on top of that, they wanted to charge me around 300 dollars for installation and reprogramming that I got a locksmith done for under 100 dollars. In short, nice people, but very very pricey service. I wouldn't go back there for a mechanical issue. Update (removing one more star): My car was making a funny noise after I got it back from them and I popped the hood only to find out that they left the airbox cap open!! and they lost one of the bolts for the engine cover! Thank you for great service "West Coast Tire and Service!"
