West coast tires is the best tire company anywhere. I wrote a review earlier but I left out the name of one of the best managers anywhere. It is Don. I always take my car there for tires, etc and Don is always available to take care of my car needs. He is the most helpful and returns all of my phone calls immediately. If you have not been to West Coast Tires and Service, you don't know what you are missing. Trust me, Joan This is the very best tire shop I have ever been to, Everyone there is polite and professional. They offer the best prices around and quality service. Tom, the owner, is always available to help and Hector, one of the service advisors is terrific too. I had an emergency on the weekend and they were readily available for me, to rectify my popped tire issue, from a street pothole. Gave me a loaner tire until my specific tire could be delivered within 2 days. They called me the second the tire arrived and installed the new tire for me. No stress and they did not make a mess out of the inside of my car interior, like most other places do. I would not go anywhere else and their prices are better than anyone. Joan I visited West Coast Tires on Pontius Ave today for the second time, to check out an ongoing tire pressure issue. The tire was on a new car that I purchased a year ago and very expensive. The tire had a leak within a few days of my purchase of the car. The dealership kept making excuses and I have been adding air to the tire on a regular basis. So today I asked Don, the service manager at West Coast Tires, if he could take the tire off and check the wheel/rim. His tire man did that and I watched everything because I wanted to see what was going on, He found a plug that looked like orange bubble gum inside the tire and that was the way someone patched the hole in the tire. This is the way the dealership sold me my new car, with a defective tire and with a mickey mouse patch that was causing the leak for over a year. West Coast said they would never patch a tire like that. Since my car had never had a reason to remove the tires, this is how my new car was delivered. It is disgusting, but true. If you ever have any tire issues don't go anywhere but West Coast Tires. I have been going there for many years with my other cars, but this car was new, so I kept going back to the dealership, that obviously did not want to take responsibility if there was a problem. True story, so be careful when a dealership tells you everything is fine. I only trust West Coast Tires and Don is so customer oriented and so are the workers there. I called Westcoast Tires today and spoke with a General Manager named Don Vocum. I had never spoken to him before. I had a problem with one of my Mercedes tires. My car is relatively new and the Dealership told me some false information, so I called Westcoast Tires. They were always honest with other cars that I used to take there and I called to get a second opinion. It is a good thing I did, as they told me something completely different than what I had been told at the Mercedes Dealership. They tested the tire that was leaking air, took out a nail and I told them to patch the tire and they refused. I asked why and Don said because it does not need a patch, so why should he patch it. I thought he was kidding but he was serious. The Dealership told me I needed a brand new tire and without even testing the tire. Very important lesson and that is only go to places where they WILL NOT RIP YOU OFF and that you can trust. This is all the truth. I will drive the car and if I continue to have my tire leak, then I shall go back and they can figure out what is wrong, but for now, it is fine. I recommend WEST COAST TIRES and ask for Don, the General Manager, or Tom, the owner. I recently went to West Coast Tires on Pontius and again Tom, the manager was so helpful. I asked him to check my tire and immediately he came over and helped me. Each time I go there, I get the same excellent service and if you have not gone there, you should. I saw a large screw stuck in my tire today. I called Westcoast Tires and spoke with Tom, the manager. He told me to bring my car there and he would have someone look at it. I drove the car there and was told it could be patched, rather than purchasing a new tire. I was so happy. They repaired the tire and I was out of there in less than one half hour. The price was more than reasonable and what great service. Jessee, one of the workers there, explained what happened with my tire. I would definitely return there for any future tire problems. I recently had work done on my car, at Westcoast Tire and Service, The man that helped me, named Tom, was so very helpful and polite. I purchased new tires, replaced belts, oil change and more. I was able to wait for the repairs to be done and I was not kept waiting for a long period of time. I will continue to go there for all of my auto needs.
